The city

Turin

Beautiful Torino. Romantic Torino. The city is the birthplace of Ernesto Bonino, one of the most important performers of Italian swing in the 1940s. It’s also where Carlo Prato, member of the Eiar (Ente Italiano per le Audizioni Radiofoniche della Rai) discovered the Trio Lescano, another milestone in Swingin’Italy.

torino
And it is the hometown of the unforgettableFred Buscaglione, a true icon of the golden years. The glory days of Turin were between the second half of the 800 and the first half of the last century. To stroll through the city is like going back in time: a series of squares, arcades, palaces, the beautiful riverfront and lush green parks take you back to the Savoy era, and all that is modern becomes out of tune.

Beautiful by day, lively and fascinating by night. You can sit at a table in one of the many historical cafés to breathe in the vintage soul of the city, tasting fine local chocolates o sipping an Americano (Campari and Martini are from right here!).
